Also Golurk can literally fly (not even glide, FLY) and it's not a flying type. You know why is that? Because it has nothing to do with animals that fly or glide, has no affinity to the wind or anything remotely similar, it's simply a creature unrelated to the sky that happens to be able to cross the sky, just like other pokemon, just like Knuckles.

Knuckles has nothing to do with the sky, the wind or the flying/glide animals. If you think Knuckles should be flying type because it can glide then nearly all mascot legends should be flying type as well because they can glide or even fly.
