>>25266432Nope. It's a filler card that's purposely designed not to be competitive. Sure, it's one of the better ones and a game winner in Theme format, but it's useless otherwise.
The other two Gyarados cards are better, and M Gyarados is just a better version of it.
If you really want to use it, either play in Expanded where you can pair it with Blastoise, or run it with something like Palkia EX in Standard.
