The main issue with Nuclear mono is the Nuclear move tutor being post Serra imo
If the weaker nuclear moves were available before Julia, it's likely be fine, but having to wait so long in between obtaining Nuclear mons and getting the nuclear moves is what makes Mono Nuclear hell
Though it's really funny that mono nuclear becomes probably the easiest mono if you turn on Inverse mode
