Okay. The trip from Fortree to Mossdeep is a long one, but also really rather boring. Since Surfing is very required now, I took this time to build up Tentacruel on the way. Helps with Magma nonsense too. Not sure if she'll stick around though.
Realized on the way that oh right, I have Manectrike's Mega Stone, could probably use that.
Unfortunately for Tate and Liza, this is not Emerald, and their Gym consists of two Rock Pokemon. Roughly one and a half Surfs is all it takes.
The greatest tragedy during this segment is the fact that the tracker wiped my data for reasons unknown, so I had to redo a lot of it.
