At level 7 that's 1,800 per proc, so it would take about 88 days to make up for the amount spent. But you probably aren't using your dream shard mon every day due to events and other times you care more about your drowsy power, so it would probably actually take over 6 months. The exp you gain from sleep for the nights you are using it would help you get closer to 50 without putting you at a deficit.

I just switched it because it feels weird calculating with a team-wide boost, and it's hard enough to get one with 3 good subskills at 50 before the forced gold skills anyway. This is just one of the most impactful spikes you could get at level 50, and it still isn't that big compared to the cost.
