i feel like the only character whose piercings would have a significant story is nyx. i can picture her being bullied/peer pressured/blackmailed into getting her eyebrow/tongue piercings by mean girls in highschool, since her spineless behavior coupled with the fact that she was a teacher's pet made her a favorite target. they assumed a goody two shoes like her would be horrified at the prospect, but nyx secretly really enjoys having them since she's into punk fashion
