The comedic parts and character interactions are all written very well, and I think you do a great job depicting Team Fangclaw's 100% platonic relationship. On the other hand, the narration and dialogue are a bit clunky/verbose/purple at times. I also think the pacing could've been sped up a bit, and the plot feels a bit unfocused in the middle. However, I like how
all the events and troubles of the story are brought together in the climax, making for an emotional and touching scene.

The characters are written well, and the dialogue is mostly good, though somewhat stiff or wooden at times. I did think there was a weird inconsistency with Lombre:
he's initially fine with sinking the ship and killing countless innocents, but once the fight starts, he inexplicably starts being careful and trying to avoid lethal force. That said, I did enjoy the fight scene overall. And I'm looking forward to seeing where your story goes next, now that the next leg of the journey has begun.
