The specific Gabumon in the Adventure anime evolves along those lines when being pumped full of Yamato's emotional energy, but other Gabumon will not.
Digimon who evolve temporarily with the aid of a human tend to achieve the same forms each time, unless the human's mental state significantly changes (e.g. the human becoming filled with rage and hatred will turn them into something more monstrous). Whereas wild Digimon who degenerate somehow will often evolve into something completely different next time.
