Just look at Kingdom Hearts, people were mad as hell that there was only one superboss in that game.
Thinking about it further, it seems like the post-game complaints are mostly aimed at easy kids games that tend to have brutally challenging endgame content aimed at an older audience, so when it's missing it can feel like you're playing for nothing as an adult.
>>50435210Well Pokemon didn't really have that much of an extensive post-game until Emerald, and to this day it's probably still the most involved it's ever gotten alongside Platinum.
There's far more games with little to no postgame in the series than there are games with a good one.
