I really really like that these birds exist. Gamefreak has done a lot in terms of blurring the lines between legendary Pokemon and normal ones lately with stuff like Urshifu. It's helping to remove the stigma around legends and the bull shit created by The Power of One that all legendaries are required for worldly balance and all of them are unique and only one exists. Most legends aren't unique or special, just super rare Pokemon and stuff like this helps reinforce that. Constantly I'll see things like trainercard threads, OC threads, and self-insert threads in general where someone has some shit like a Lati or Heatran and in has to roll one or two fucking autists to spam the shit out of and ruin the comfy thread because "muh realism" because for some reason someone's self-insert fantasy being more of a power fantasy than theirs is a sin against god.

That isn't the issue here really. I couldn't care less that someone gives a shit about someone using a Raikou or something. The issue is they have to barge in and shit up threads and topics over it where people are having a comfy and civil conversation about it, it actually kills threads and in places like this where 75% of the content is just memes and porn it's kinda sad when one autist has to sperg out and ruin a whole thread where people aren't bothering anyone. Yeah you can report them but you know as well as I do that jannies and mods don't do their fucking job. It's just nice that thanks to all these developments these fuckers are losing ground to stand on so hopefully this behavior will see more curving as time goes on.
tl;dr I'm glad it's becoming possible to use legends without people sperging out citing a non-canon movie that came out two fucking decades ago.
