>>50715725Let's Go was a pretty fun distraction.
Sword and Shield are super mixed, the wild area stuff and DLC are pretty enjoyable, but the main campaign is painfully boring and linear.
BDSP was very dull, I didn't even bother finishing it because it was boring me to tears.
PLA was awesome, I'm glad we got something different even if it wasn't perfect.
I really wanna like New Snap, but god damn the progression system sucks big time.
>Play through this stage>Oh, now do it again>Oh, now do it a third time>What's that, you didn't get enough XP? Play the stage a fourth time!!It's like they weren't confident in just releasing a good 1-2 hour game so they had to tack on this forced progression shit. I would've liked it if you only had to play a stage once, and everything else was just optional.
Mystery Dungeon DX is okay but I just couldn't get a hold of the newer mechanics. Maybe that's just because I played Red Rescue Team a bunch as a kid.
I played Pokken DX for like 20 minutes.
I'm slightly optimistic for Scarlet and Violet but I'm keeping my expectations tampered.
Overall, switch era started off kinda meh but it's getting a little better.
