No. The songs got butchered thanks to the much lesser amount of trumpets and horns this time for no reason. Hoenn's soundtrack was unique by the fact trumpets and horns were the main and only instruments that composed most of Hoenn's songs, and theses same instruments added the charm of intensity and up-beat tension that you can hear and feel.
In ORAS, it's not the same. The songs doesn't seem to try to bring intensity, nor completely replicate 100% the percussion and the progress of the original musics, and instead, sound more calm and less-up beat, with more different new instruments that made a huge part to the soundtrack, and less of horns and trumpets. That's why ORAS's soundtrack is worse.
