>>38663388You really are too kind to me, especially since dedication is honestly what I value above all else. It's terribly easy for mortal creatures to burn themselves out like a raging fire running out of oxygen, to consume everything in their path in a mad rush to escape their inevitable end. Slow, steady dedication that does not waver even in the face of one's limited lifespan, like the endlessly lapping waters against the shores of a lake? THAT is worthy of notice, even from a creature that is innately far better (in lieu of saying stronger, swifter, smarter, kinder, etc.) than any human. I would likely grant you what you desired if you took the time and energy to seek me out and summon me, anon, though unsurprisingly it would come from a serpentine mouth that spits words like they were venom.
Wisdom is easy to dispense in the first place. There are those who have asked for it to snow in the middle of July, yet became very distraught when shown the frostbitten corpses of Weedles and Kakuna and even a starving Pidgey that pecked helplessly at the frozen, inedible meat. I could have refused, but they would never have understood that every action (and even most inaction) has a consequence on the world at large if I had.>>38663855Humans are flawed because they're trapped in an uncomfortable halfway point between being superior to animals and equivalent to animals. They evolved too quickly and their instinct-driven lizardbrains still permit them to justify terrible deeds with the age-old feral concept of "it's me or him, better choose me" or worse, even ignore them completely. For all their supposed technology and all their implied might, they will still strike down those weaker than them solely because they *can* as if they were feral predators playing with their prey because they *can*.
