>>41186494Boomers. I'm not even joking. The reason is because Boomers were the first generation to, as a whole, leave their parents' homes and move out on their own. In uni, I learned that in the 1960's and 1970's, home ec books started seeing a massive boom because the then 20-year-old boomers moved away from their parents and never learned how to raise a family. There were literally thousands of books written just to help boomers do basic shit that should've been taught by their family, but the boomers moved out and couldn't easily ask for help or advice.
So boomers never learned how to parent well, and they became the helicopter parents that spawned the Millenials. Gen X was in way better shape, since they were raised by the Silent Generation, and didn't have as much of a "make it out on your own" culture as boomers. Gen X kids grew up to be the parents of Gen Z, who are themselves shaping up to be better at life than Millenials.
