Fucking Humanoid goop and a giant battleship have the same base stats, as does an alien overlord and Mecha Tyranitar which ironically, is weaker than regular TTar (but faster) offensively and defensively (same BST though).
Human, without the special class variations, have movesets looking something like this. The ability to use any held item is an actual, stated special trait unique to humans, so I can see that as an Ability for most normals
