With the Pokéflute, a good chunk of the game became open, so I snuck ahead and caught:
CAROL in R16 with Cindy since everyone else was doing better
EMDEN in Viridian City via Good Rod to round the Fuhrer's ranks (preferred a Poliwag but thems the rules)
SCHIZO with Sam to get a flier, help my chances at the Safari with Chukter, and as a tool that will help us later
CHUKLEROOT in the SZ with Chukter after a Rhyhorn thankfully fucked off
TIGER(Gyarados) with Cindy. The Gyarados will also be a tool that will help us later

Spent a good ol' training montage leveling EMDEN, HORION, and CHUKLEROOT, A Dodrio tried to drill through NOKI via crit, but he countered with his own. BIFFANY choked on that same Dodrio's beak though, and died right before I needed her. Rip in Wrestlemania, the dynamic Slam/Toss duo with BIG NIGGA is dead. PETER almost died to landmines.
STATKRAFT and ADOLF tag teamed the L38 Hypno, using Screen and parahax since I basically had no counters for it. Otherwise, HORION did as planned and wrecked face, with BRETSPURBN playing wall when needed. I got spooked by Koga's Weezing getting X Attacks and poison off before exploding, but the pain train held true. CHUKLES and VOMER tag teamed the Gym, with NOKI taking the obligatory Weezing blast admirably. Sam had some serious issues handling the Hypno, but through teamwork and some honestly stupid moves no one died. Afterwards, the mohawk dog went on a rampage, critting left and right and generally managing to outpace the usual bullshit RNG. Clinched the badge by hiding behind the bomb shelter called BIG NIGGA
CAROL hard walled the Hypno, then ALICE went shin getter 2 on the rest of the gym and drilled to victory
