Imagine a rougelike battle facility similar to Battle Pyramid mixed with Pokemon Crater (Google it, zoomers), but with roaming NPCs or even online players. Having to run around and build your team before being challenged by someone with a better team would be so fun. Picking up good hold items and quickly deciding which Pokemon will benefit from it the most.
Imagine it with all 900 Pokemon we have now, truly testing your knowledge of every Pokemon up to this point.
