For everything else, a nice, traditional panty will cover you well, is soft, can have a cute design, and no matter what position you get in or how you move, it'll always be perfectly positioned. If you have to work/be out for prolonged hours, there's nothing better than it.
You only stop feeling thongs if you're still for a long while, but if you so much as do something like bend over, your ass cheeks open and when you stand back up they clasp the string again and it's even more uncomfortable than before.
I seriously think this thread is a thinly veiled "men larping as girls" one to try and convince them that thongs are "totally comfortable" just to get them to wear them in everyday situations.
