>>54607710>>54607722Nemona is hands down my favorite “friendly rival” in the franchise, and at least in my personal opinion, the best executed one. One of the reasons I feel jerk rivals work so well is because they motivate you to be at your best to shut them down, but most friendly rivals lack that similar “push” due to being newbies like MC and not really sparking any competition. Nemona, on the other hand, is not only already Champion(choosing to use weaker Pokemon for your sake), but she’s also the one who helps MC get into Pokemon battling in the first place. In a way, I feel like she motivates me to be at my best because I want to make her proud of me and show how much I’ve grown.
Sorry for the rambling none of you care about, feel free to ignore it. Hopefully she’s brought back for a rerun when she gets added to the lodge, I didn’t have the gems to pull her the first time.
