>>38033343Gen 2 is my favorite gen to play through because I like the old school Gameboy look, and because I can just forget about nature/IV/EV autism for a bit. Alot of Gen2 designs are in my favorites. I even made a romhack of gold specifically to redistribute them better so it isn't all rattatas and pidgeys. Honorable mention to Gen 3 for solid over all experience, and Gen 4 for comfy snow area..
