Last gym of the orange isles is doubles. I almost prefer this complete lack of a gym interior to an uninspired boulder maze. This might be interesting because my team is very poorly equipped for double battles.
>>55652462The manga had that talking clefairy that I heard was planned to be Ash's starter in the anime to contrast Team Rocket's talking meowth but was changed to pikachu pretty close to the last minute. I wonder if in that timeline Clefairy would've been shilled as hard as Pikachu has been in this one. I'd not ever heard anything about the Poliwag line being intended to be a mascot in any form but it'd have been based if it had been.
