I have around 2-3 boxes of mons that I switch around on my team.
Leveling them all to 100 would be more of a chore, and for what? to do the same battle with higher levels.
Sure, some calcs are different but its almost completely the same.
i've only trained 4 pokemon to level 100, two of my breeding talonflame, a meowstic i used in the story, and an alakazam that was also used in the story
