Generally when you call out that argument, it then resorts to "y-you're just defending shit!" or "but it's lazy!", and then it ends there because they can't really defend it past that, ie; it's an argument based in emotion and not fact.
I don't think those transitions are lazy. Klink line gaining extra gears on level up, Magnemite multiplying. In fact, I think they're fitting. It seems to make sense to me that a mechanical pokemon would evolve in a very mechanical way.
I mean, it's cool if someone doesn't like those sort's of pokemon, and theyre generally pretty unpopular, but theyre kept to a minimum so I don't see an issue anyway. This is coming from someone who doesn't have a particular affinity with all objectmon anyway, I tend to like more dinosaurs and shit. Typicallly seen """"true"""" pokemon.
Also, Aegislash is fucking rad.
