https://www.gamnesia.com/news/pokemon-2019-will-make-fans-say-this-is-what-ive-been-waiting-for>Speaking with popular Japanese publication Famitsu, Ishihara dropped several tidibits of information about the upcoming 2019 title. First, he established that it will be "a completely different game" than theLet's Gotitles releasing this holiday season. This, he explained, is becauseLet's Gois an "entry game" for new fans, but next year's game is something they "want longtime fans of thePokémonseries to look forward to.">While it will be more traditional thanLet's Go, it sounds like the 2019 game will also be bringing lots of new ideas to the table. According to Ishihara, it will "give a good understanding of what an evolvedPokémongame looks like after it has continued to succeed the traditions of Game Freak." He went on to describe it as a brand new product full of new gameplay elements and new Pokémon to encounter. Are they going to deliver on actually making a core Pokemon game that expands on current ideas without talking down to its audience, or will it just be USUM2 babyshit that they know we'll take because "hey at least it's not Let's Go"?
Also, what do you think is a realistic way they could "evolve" the series? Non-linear gameplay? More focus on story?
