There isn't even that much of a difference between the two franchises, but one side just cannot stop mentioning the other unprovoked. And no, I don't mean the pokemon side.
In fact, think about the number of digimon threads on /v/ that are made to complain about pokemon, and then think about the inverse. 90% of the time it's digimon fans who have pokemon living rent free in their heads.
