>>43013916I think the region would be better if he dropped the idea of trying to keep it similar to current generations (only 70-80 new Pokémon, extremely anthropomorphised starters, throwaway generational gimmicks, etc.). I think doing that drags down what could otherwise be an extremely solid region concept, and there's really no reason to adhere to those questionable design choices if you don't want to just because it's what the actual games are currently doing.
