>>52614042>but since Game Freak decided to make level obedience and Poke Balls tied only to the gym leader badges you get, it makes it such a pain in the ass to catch any Pokemon beyond the early portions.Not him I literally reach the 8th gym leader with no gym badges and it was a one of the most kino experiences I've had since gen 1&2.
It actually felt nice exploring the region with no gym badges since it meant I actually had to put thought into how I carried myself concerning catching and fighting pokemon.
