There aren't any Zepeli mooks guarding the way, nor any obstacles or hindrances of any sort. Your sole company is the sound of your footsteps and the lifeless ambience that comes with it.
Oh, and that baleful moaning in the background.
It's almost as if the führer isn't afraid of you stepping up and confronting him.
The stairwell is an array of endless steps that goes on and on for miles on end, each foot forward brings you higher and higher up the tower and at the same time, farther and farther away from reality. It's like you're entering a deep, dark, twisted void, and there's no turning back.
By the time you finally reach the top of the tower, the amount of paranormal activity is completely off the charts. A spectral aura contaminated with thoughts of dread and fear is radiating from the Admin's Keep, and it plagues the air like a cloud of foggy miasma.
"It's never too late to turn back, you know."Your eyes meet with the only other person who could have said that, Hexcalibur. His piercing eye stares back at you with a look that, for once, isn't so boastful, and a tone of voice that isn't at all condescending, but more like a mentor lecturing a student, or possibly even a father.
It's weird to hear him behave so calmly.
>What do you say next?
