For a children's movie, it was pretty good, from the music to the animation. It wasn't flawless, but it was rather enjoyable. I particularly love the sequence about Mewtwo's backstory that was cut from the English release. Of course, this was also a great debut for my favorite 'mon, so I can't help but remember it fondly.
