>>32181630I completed the Pokedex in Diamond, and just in general played that game to fucking death. I bought Platinum, played through the main storyline and stopped, same with HeartGold. At that point I was kind of fed up with all the little flaws gen 4 had, and replaying gen 2 through the remake made me realize just how flowed those games were despite the several nice updates in HGSS. I was feeling real tired of Pokemon by the end of gen 4, and around that time I was branching out to other video games a lot more than before.
Gen 5 ended up being so good and refreshing that I went right back to being a huge fan, though.
