An ineffectual paw at the accessory yielded little movement, prompting the dog to continue with a slightly more disgusted expression. "I bet her trainer forced her to fight until she was exhausted, and made the badge this way so that he could show off!"
This stranger was, of course, smacked away by Hannah soon after. The only reason she hadn't done so sooner was purely due to how tired she was after Nimbasa. In that respect, the Herdier had a point. Hannah could really use some time to rest after that.
The Braviary called back, though, a grin forming on his beak as the entire crowd turned to the new trio. He quickly affirmed the Herdier's train of thought, giving a sharp nod toward the Herdier and continuing to make an example of Hannah. "Truly despicable behavior. But it's to be expected from humankind, now isn't it?"
Pillow and Sylvia just watched on in exasperation as the crowd began to slowly cut them off from her. It didn't seem an intentional effort- it was too scattershot for that- but it did make things much harder for the two mon who actually KNEW Hannah, and wanted to prevent her identity from being twisted into one of victimhood. Eventually, the crowding got so bad that Sylvia attempted to Slash her way through, only to be instantly bombarded by a crowd of already-riled-up attendees.
Pillow quickly came to her aid, as did Hannah, though the crowd proved hard to beat back. Hannah especially nearly drowned in the swarm, only making her way out of it by creating an entire cage of rocks around her with her Rock Slide attack.
