You don't have to turn Pokémon into an action RPG or Breath of the Wild clone to properly implement 3D, you just have to flesh things out and give us less of *this* shit. The 3D generations have no polish, no attention to detail nor any added depth to complete the transition. They're just a lazy veneer on top of the same tired RBY model.
