Those secondary effects are what I believe will really make a difference in terms of competitive complexity, the fact that Max Moves exist that both do damage AND change Terrain/Weather are extraordinary, I'm more interested in how they're going to handle the odd moves in their transition to Max Moves, like Destiny Bond and such which had very unique Z-boosts, odds are Max Moves are going to drop the uniqueness and hone in on more clustered Max alternatives.
Since there's a species culling though, I wouldn't be surprised if there was an Attack list culling to some extent outside of signatures.
