Probably extremely reactionary given how much they fumbled Ash's first loss but for reference Goku took 3 tournaments to win so it feels understandable for him to lose, even if Charizard was a big fucking faggot for it
>Dropping after Johto
Pokemania just died for you as a kid. You don't need more justification, you just understood the writing was on the wall. Had Ash won here it would've been fine and we could have moved on but instead the worst was yet to come
>Dropping after Hoenn
May's sex appeal couldn't keep you invested any longer
>Dropping after Sinnoh
This is where truly rational people understood Ash was never going to win. After Tobias there wasn't any more cope to be had, Ash had been cemented as a permanent loser that'll never truly score
>Dropping after Unova
You shouldn't have watched this Season to begin with
>Dropping after Kalos
This was just Sinnoh 2. You shouldn't have fallen for the anime's lies but if you did, you 100% deserved it at this point. They flopped not only with Ash's most shonen arc but also a childhood friend romance by basically immediately erasing her from existence the moment she left. This is truly the season to encapsulate all that was ever wrong with the anime
>Dropping after Alola
Understandable since Journeys was clearly not intended to be a follow up to the sudden shift to Yo-Kai Watch tier antics. Ash finally wins because 20th anniversary but too little, too late
>Watching the end
Props if you actually finished this fucking anime you have infinite autisms beyond most rational people are capable of because most people would never want to sit through Ash fumbling for 20+ years. Most people like me just watched the last few special episodes and went "oh hey I remember that" but the anime shifted and changed so much by that point it didn't really feel as invigorating. They should've dropped Ash by Hoenn or Unova instead of keeping him around as a leech
