An island of floating garbage. Entirely optional. Filled with poison types and also the elemental monkeys. Lots of hidden items on the ground, so if you're ever low on money this is where you're gonna have to make do. (Yeah, money is gonna be kinda a big deal in my game. Ending up broke is a likely outcome for people bad at the game.)
> Trainer Skills
When starting your game & choosing a character, you can choose a skill that you think would be good for you. In NG+, you get to choose 2 skills.
Examples of these skills are like "Observant" (gives subtle hints to help you find invisible items in the overworld), or "Sneaky" (hold a certain button to tip-toe in the grass. This decreases the likelihood of a random encounter).
There would be plenty of other skills, But I could use some ideas.
> Environmentally Accurate battles
Remember how in Alpha Sapphire, you could encounter wild bird Pokemon while soaring? And how you could just send out swampert to fight them? That makes no fucking sense and I hate it.
So, if you're surfing, you can only use Pokemon who can swim. If you're diving, you can only use Pokemon who can actually breathe underwater. If you're near a volcano you can only use Pokemon that can actually stand the heat. You get where I'm going with this, right?
Also, certain moves can interact beneficially or negatively with the structures in the background of a fight, if they're there. Intentionally missing with low-sweep to cause rocks to fall on your opponent, SwiftSwim being permanently activated for battles underwater (via dive), etc.
Be as harsh as possible pls. I want to make sure which ideas are meant to be, & iron them out to the best of my ability.
