>>57357579>>57357584>Is Yanmega EX better than Melmetal?Yes. There is zero benefit to running Melmetal in Dialga. Nothing important is weak to Metal, and with Cyrus running around, you are already essentially locked in to sacrificing your Dialga, meaning you ideally want all of your other Pokemon to be EXs, unless for some reason there is a completely busted non-EX you want to run with it, but Melmetal is definitely not that Pokemon. Meltan can't attack while Yanma can. That wont always be relevant, but it can be relevant. Yanmega retreats, while Melmetal does not. The Dark meta cards are weak to Grass. Melmetal's ability does not prevent Rocky Helmet or Druddigon damage. Yanmega is only 3 energy to attack, meaning you only need to ramp it with Dialga once, then next turn it can naturally come online, unlike Melmetal. Like, see pic related. Just compare them side by side. Obviously Yanmega is better.
