I was just answering the question from Anon on why Tinkaton isn't Fighting/Fairy to be a better Steel Killer and I made a theory on why she wasn't Fighting/Fairy.
Beside she can still be a Metalworker without having to be Steel type, Conkeldurr isn't part Rock yet it's a Construction Worker able to make Concrete.
Also, still they could've given her Electric, Fire, more Ground, and more Fighting moves to make her better at dealing with Steel for lore reasons, but they didn't for some reason, and the worse part of that is Terastallizing and using Tera Blast is the only way for her to get Fire and Electric attacks which means when Terastallizing gets removed Tinkaton will be screwed unless they give her Fire and Electric moves as compensation or Buff Gigaton Hammer to SE on Steel types or she gets a unique item.
Again, Gamefreak aren't the best in decision making.
