It's not just the exp share, enemies also have consistently weaker Pokemon and moves while the player's are consistently stronger. And of course they don't even bother with challenge facilities anymore.
I've Master Ranked every month from launch to end-of-service and the Battle Frontier in HGSS was far more difficult than every single ranked ruleset. Series 12 (the ruleset since DLC2 that will continue until end of life) is a joke and the Kyogre players who always lead Kyogre no matter what you have on preview might as well be NPCs.
