The Oshawott family are able to manipulate their keratin outside of their body, to the point of making seashell-shaped armor that can easily attach and reattach to their bodies. Samurott's proficiency at this ability allows it to snap off a piece of its armor, have that piece forge into a sword, and break down to be reattached, all rapidly taking place within a quickdraw and "sheathing" motion. If you were to shave a Samurott's facial hair off, can it regrow that instantaneously as well?
