Whoever programmed it so the VS. Seeker doesn't work inside the cafe, please never code again. The correct code would have asked whether or not the player's current location contained trainer data and was not a gym, with the VS Seeker working if yes. Apart from the forced Amie bullshit this is the single shittest thing I've found in these games so far.
