>>37528485Been gone all day so I'm sorry I didn't respond sooner. I thought I'd give it a more komodo structure and more reptilian legs with a large leaf covering the legs. Also started playing with colors. I'm not into my choices in pic related though. Thought maybe you'd be able to give me some input on it.
The sundew parts of its body (the tail and front claws) should be a similar color to the actual plant, but I'm not sure whether to make just the tendrils on the end that color or segmented off like I have it (obviously done better since this is a very crude mock-up). I'm also not sure what color to make the main body. I don't think I should make it green as it might detract from the plant parts, but I'm also not sure what would work. Used this brown/tan color in the meantime since it and the green of the plants reminded me a little of the colors you see in camo, which would work for it since I picture it as a patient hunter that waits to lure prey in with a Sweet Scent (using its bright tail) before grabbing it.
