Pokemon is inherently incapable of producing a good animation with a good story because it cares more about advertising toys to toddlers than actually entertaining its audience. Doesn't matter if it's with Ash, Liko, or whoever the fuck Gen 10's anime protagonist will be, it's all the same bland and flavorless garbage.
