>>45842691The best way to make a convincing character is to have them be flawed in a way that's relatable. In terms of a romance, I'm not entirely sure as the closest I've gotten to writing romance in Gardenoir, but I would imagine it would be something along the lines of them having some problems that make it hard for them to love another person (or in your case, pokémon). As far as what that would actually be, I have no clue, could be societal norms (forbidden love) or something with the character (maybe they don't trust easily because they've been in a few bad relationships). In either case, I wish you the best in your writing endeavors.
And before anyone asks, yes I am writing chapter 5, I've just been really busy / lazy / drunk as fuck because of the holiday season. I'll try and have 2 chapters done by the time the next thread comes 'round.
