>Psychic pokemon themselves are a point of controversy, constant debate, mysticism, folklore, and superstition even from a scientific stand point the very nature of these pokemon only further creates controversy and questions. Psychic pokemon often display the most intelligence, are often humanoid or human-like in appearance, often can communicate on a level that goes beyond traditional concepts of "communication" and even at times display abilities that defy conventional science or notions of what is "reality". Lets talk about their Brains.
>The evolutionary line of Musharna and Hypno are not closely related, they are an example of "convergant" evolution though in that they both consume dreams.. the extend of how much they rely on the consumption of dreams is what has separated them. Hypno has an incredibly large brain, but possess conventional anatomy and is capable of eating normal food: Vegetation, other pokemon.. human children.. Musharna has no stomach. Munna has no Stomach. Neither of these pokemon possess any kind of a digestive system and their limbs are atrophied from disuse. They are Brains with eyes, a skull, small transitional skeletons, and a "hole" or intend in front of the frontal lobe.
>These kinds of adaptations though are popular within psychic Pokemon: forgoing conventional biological adaptations in favor of extremely niche.. unusual, unforeseen and occasionally disturbing adaptations... the implications that make these disturbing however is the mysterious surrounding them: Why? How? The solossis evolutionary line is another such example of an extreme as it's entire body is compossed of what is essentially brain matter. As it grows, develops, and matures the brain matter simply further develops into very basic "features". No bones. The eyes don't even function- they are eye spots. It is simply a Brain hovering around in a coating of amniotic mucousy: they reproduce via splitting in two via the line inbetween the hemispheres of a brain.
