I had skipped gen 3 back in the day so I never got around to using her. Over the years seeing all the waifufags and all the creepy/obsessive/pervert stuff they did with her completely ruined Gardevoir for me, and the mere sight of her made me go "Eugh", even Diantha's one made me feel this way. But then when ORAS came out I don't know why but I decided to give her a chance, and she ended up being amazing! I know ORAS is already an easy game, but even so I realized she was far stronger than I thought, also very cool looking when attacking. I grew fond of the Gardevoir I raised and used throughout all the story, and to this day I have a soft spot for her. Also since then I don't let other weirdos ruin her for me. She's a very cool Pokemon with interesting lore and I appreciate her now.
