>>22977756looking at this, the only reason why I see they brought back Charizard is to cater towards genwunners to get viewers, because the anime was shit and had to get more attention somehow, OR the most probable which is prepare every new and old viewers to remind them that Ash has a charizard.
This is because if people are now reminded Ash has a charizard or lets them know he has one, the viewers will be ready to understand when Ash suddenly gets a mega ring, Zard Y stone and mega evolves Charizard.
