I'm building a fangame taking place across New Zealand, Tasmania, and Australia.
Right now, I'm trying to develop fakemon based on the wildlife of the area.
Here are some ideas I had:
>An Electric/Dark Tasmanian Tiger that is very cute in it's base stage, making it the Tasmanian region mascot and a popular pet
>Ice/Bug Dung beetle that lives by rolling around on top of a snowball
>Ground/Dark armadillo that can roll up to look like a pokeball andbchange color based on the ball it's captured in
>A Grass type Kiwi that becomes a bird of paradise and learns Firey Dance
>A Normal/Fighting kangaroo that had a move that deals typeless damage
>A Water/Ghost and Water/Normal "Shrodinger catfish". Can have lightning rod or sap sipper as abilities
>A Fire/Rock Bullfrog that evolves from a salamander
