Since you guys seem to be doing this and having an easy time, why don't I up the anti.
Pokemon are not the invincible beings you thought they were, yes they can take more lead than a person, but it weakens them much like a person. Their leg gets shot, and they'll be limping, an arm is shot, they struggle to attack, etc. Keep in mind that they can bleed out too, unless they have some sort of recovery move, they'll need medical attention for even small wounds, after all, it can get infected. And the resulting infection can't be removed by anything the Pokemon does, no not even heal bell, it will ease the pain but no more. If they doe have a recovery move, they can heal small wounds, but if their arm is ripped off, leg blown awya, etc. they aren't getting that back without surgery.. Also if a bomb/mine that would blow a Ship's hull hits them, they're dead, I don't care what you chose, if the explosion would cause a Cruiser to sink, hell if it would blow a person apart, it's going to blow them apart, if not fatally blast a chunk of their body off.
What will be accepted is Steel types shrugging off regular bullets, but armor-piercing rounds are doing to hurt them. Legendary Pokemon will be tough to kill obviously, but they can be taken down with enough effort. Pokemon with high defense can take more damage, but only if it is realistic. e.g. Gliscor can tank machine gun fire, but would be beat up from it, an artillery shell would kill Gliscor if it is a direct hit. A Bastiodon could be used as a shield against enemy fire with little injury, but mortar rounds would severely damage it.
Also Special defense doesn't matter.
So how do you fair now?
