All of these models were outsourced and made of such high quality that they would be future proofed for use in future titles including console titles.
Even if they bothered to make new models which we already know they didn't, why in the fuck would they bother wasting time doing so when they models they have are perfect as is.
The fact is gamefreak was handed gold and told to make it look good, and they somehow managed to fail.
