Amazing after 17 years of not being on the dub, Veronica Taylor can still do the old Ash voice so well. Sarah Natochenny's Ash is simply colorless and a tomboyish sounding mess to this day, after all this time, despite her seeming to take pride in her work while Kayzie Rogers was terrible at it too.
Was the dub change just to save money/cut costs on production of everything one of the worst things to happen to this franchise? Goldfarb, the Tobias loss, Alain loss, and Cathcart's Team Rocket rewrites being the others?
